The fruit for this wine is 100% Naramata Bench and was sourced from our Trestle Vineyard (planted 2012), supported by silt loam soils.
It undergoes spontaneous malolactic fermentation and matures in 3rd fill French oak barrels for 11 months with no racking until pre-bottle blending. Unfined & unfiltered prior to bottling.
The heritage clones selected for this 2018 French Family release have produced an exquisite & ultimately complex Pinot Noir. Intricate layers of aromas, flavours & textures will continue to develop over its lifespan.
